Picosecond laser Discovery Pico Plus, also for coloured tattoos
A tattoo you no longer identify with can be removed. At our studio in Porta Romana we use the Discovery Pico Plus by Quanta System, a laser platform that combines picosecond laser, Q-Switch and the ruby 694 nm wavelength. Having several wavelengths allows us to work on black ink as well as on coloured tattoos, choosing the right one for each pigment.
Laser sessions are performed by our doctor, Dr. Hakan Bilici.
Picosecond laser
Extremely short pulses break the ink into very fine particles, which the body clears gradually in the following weeks.
Coloured tattoos
Black responds best. Blue, green and red need specific wavelengths; yellow, orange and pastel colours are the most stubborn.

How it works
How many sessions
It depends on colour, amount and depth of ink, age of the tattoo, body area and skin type. A professional black tattoo often needs 6 to 10 sessions, sometimes more, every 6 to 8 weeks.
After the session
The tattoo turns whitish, then redness, swelling and small crusts may appear for a few days. Protect the area from the sun and do not scratch it.

During the first visit we look at your tattoo, colours and skin and give you a realistic estimate of sessions and timing.
Cost
The first visit costs €100. The cost of each session depends on the size of the tattoo and is explained during the visit.
FAQ
Does it hurt?
You feel small snaps on the skin. The area is cooled to make the session more comfortable, and it only lasts a few minutes.
Can every tattoo be removed?
Most tattoos can be significantly faded or removed, but the result depends on ink and skin. We tell you honestly what to expect during the visit.
Will it leave a scar?
The laser works on the ink without cutting the skin. Following the aftercare instructions reduces the risk of skin reactions.
