Melasma

Melasma treatment in Milan

MelanReset®, our protocol for melasma and dark spots

Melasma appears as brown or grey-brown patches, usually symmetrical, on the forehead, cheekbones, upper lip and chin. It is influenced by hormones, sunlight, visible light and heat, and it tends to come back if the skin is not protected. That is why it needs a structured plan, not a single treatment.

At our studio in Porta Romana we developed MelanReset®, a protocol based on a superficial peel performed by our specialists, to which our doctor can add the Pico laser when appropriate.

MelanReset®

Our protocol for melasma: superficial peel, home routine and maintenance, with the Pico laser added case by case.

Sun spots

Sun spots are small and well defined and are treated differently, often with targeted laser sessions.

How it works

The plan

We start with a skin analysis, prepare the skin, then proceed with the MelanReset® sessions and a home routine. The timing depends on the depth of the pigment.

Your role

Daily sun protection, including against visible light, and avoiding heat make a real difference in keeping melasma under control.

Good to know

Melasma in pregnancy

During pregnancy we do not perform peels or laser for melasma: it is the time to protect the skin. Treatment can be planned after giving birth.

First visit

The first visit with skin analysis costs €100. We explain the plan, the number of sessions and the costs.
